Designed and operated by Demola Global of Finland, Demola is an innovation project in which students and companies work together as a team for eight weeks to solve corporate issues. Unlike so-called student vidicons, it is characterized by the fact that corporate employees and university students are involved as equivalent team members and work together with the Demola facilitator. In the first part, we asked Mr. Janne, COO of the company, about the whole project and what Demola thinks about student-centered learning and practice. A few months after the first part of the interview, a global pandemic came due to the epidemic of the new coronavirus. What did Demola, who develops in Global, mainly in Finland, think and respond to the Corona disaster and what kind of learning did he learn? We asked Janne Eskola to look back on the year of the big change.・ Part 1: Bring out “amazing talents” that students themselves are not aware of-What is “Demola”, a collaborative program between students and companies from Finland?
