TikTok announced on July 7th that it has expanded the scope of its services to the “Jobs and Jobs Channel” and added a new function “TikTok Resumes”. Launched as a pilot program, the feature allows job seekers to post video resumes on TikTok for jobs from partner companies such as Chipotle, Target, and Shopify. In a press release, TikTok recommends “to showcase your skills and experiences creatively and as they are, and use the hashtag #TikTokResumes in your captions when publishing video resumes to TikTok.” This feature can be found in the TikTok app’s hashtag #TikTokResumes and at www.tiktokresumes.com. Job seekers can view job listings, powerful TikTok video resume examples, videos of TikTok creators posting career-related content, and even submit video resumes for job listings. Currently, the platform only deals with job listings in the United States and accepts video resumes from the 7th to the 31st.
